Although we specialized in cross country skiing holidays, we also arrange down hill skiing and winter walking.
The highest Czech mountains are well known for excellent winter sport facilities. From November to April the Giant mountains are covered with snow. Hundreds kilometres of prepared cross country skiing trails. Concerning winter sports the Krkonose mountains offer a wide spectrum of facilities - cross-country paths as well as downhill slopes for beginners and advanced together with other facilities, including ski schools. The famous World Cup in skiing as well as other ski competitions are held in Krkonose every year. The main tourist centres such as Harrachov, Rokytnice nad Jizerou, Vysoke nad Jizerou, Benecko, Horni Misecky, Spindleruv Mlyn, Pec pod Snezkou, Mala Upa or Janske Lazne are the starting points for summer and winter activities. A number of hotels and mountain cottages provide accommodation and other services. Mountain rescue services have been provided by "Horska sluzba" since the year 1934.SPINDLERUV MLYN
Spindleruv Mlyn is situated in the heart of Krkonose's National Park and lies on the banks of river Labe (largest river in Czech republic and rises in Krkonose). Spindleruv Mlyn is secure by mountain zones Kozi hrbety (Goat ridge) and Plane. Spindleruv Mlyn is the most beautiful and most visited mountain town in Krkonose.

Ski centres are located in the following three most significant areas - Zelezna Ruda - Spicak, Zadov - Churanov and Kramolin. They offer good conditions for all kinds of winter sports and provide services in appropriate sport, accommodation and food facilities. Mountain rescue services are provided by "Horska sluzba". There is a dense network of well marked tourist paths here, over 300 km of them are also suitable for cross-country skiing.
